Our Mission

Open Choice Independence Ltd has been set up to provide an alternative choice of services to Young People leaving care, adults with learning difficulties and mental health issues. Open Choice offers flexibility, stability and innovation and provides for a variety of people.

We believe that it is possible to deal with difficult behaviour without resorting to secure units in many situations by use of our specialized supporting approach.

Once a person is able to function in a more normalized environment what choices are there in terms of resources in which to move them on? Open Choice wants to provide those choices. We will also continue to offer specialized supporting services for those that need this and will continue to develop the range of additional services available to support these placements.

People placed with us will receive the highest quality services we can achieve for they deserve nothing less. We strive to achieve the best possible options. The rights and welfare of our clients will actively be promoted. To deliver our service the value of good quality staff is beyond measure and therefore has to be looked on as our primary resource. We will value and promote their experience and skills; we are proactive in their development and training.

The success of our Support Programmes require all staff to be actively engaged in bringing about improvements, whether in terms of client development or service delivery. As we develop and grow our services, we will be able to offer our staff more opportunities to develop and grow with us.
